Quality is our
top priority. We have a full-time QA/QC staff that is both
empowered and committed to ensuring all of our products are made
according to the highest standards set forth by us, our
customers, and regulatory agencies like the USDA and FDA.
We are a USDA-inspected facility, meaning we have an onsite
Consumer Safety Inspector who visits daily. Our plant is
under the watchful eye of local, state, and other federal
agencies as well. We constantly undergo required audits
for record keeping, food-safety, and GMPs to ensure all of our
operations are top-notch and in compliance.
Our QC program includes the following key elements (to name a
few):
HACCP Plans for all products and processes.
Top-notch SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operation
Procedures)
Pre-operational & Operational Sanitation Inspections.
Training and adherence to GMPs
In-process inspections/auditing by QC Technicians.
Finished-product inspections/auditing by QC Technicians.
Traceability program.
Pest Control program.
Label Approval program.
In-house microbiological testing lab.
